Blizzard working on some auctioneer features

Just My Two Copper: No More Vendor Searches - A World of Warcraft Economic Blog

Interesting idea by Blizzard to try and keep people from selling items on the AH for less than they can be vendored for.  My guess is that some people will still be too lazy to check the vendor prices on items they auction. Thanks to Markco for the tip

WUU Updater - Addon updater

WUU was updated and it now works with wowui.incgamers.com. They also fixed the problem with CurseGaming and WoWInterface. CurseGaming will check the versions but you will need to download the files and then update from file.

I have missed having this since 3.1 and it is very nice to have it again.

HOW TO - Using LilSparky's Workshop to earn gold with tradeskills

  1. Download and install the addon. Download LilSparky's Workshop
  2. Use one of the supported auction house scanners (Auctioneer, AuctionLite, AuctionMaster, KC_Items/AuctionSpy) to scan the prices at the auction house.
  3. Log on to a character with a trade skill you would like to make money with.
  4. Click on the first column as seen in the image below until the tooltip says using best prices.
  5. Look through the items you can create.  The number on the right indicates how much an item costs to create.  The one on the left indicates how much it will sell/vendor/DE etc for.  If you find an item with low cost mats and high selling price you should consider making them and reselling them.

Does anyone else have other addons they use like this one which makes earning gold at the auction house easier?

Equipment Manager not coming out in 3.1

World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Equipment Manager Update
Certain issues were encountered with the upcoming Equipment Manager that could not be resolved in time for release with the next content update, patch 3.1. In order to ensure that this feature meets our standard of quality, we will be taking some extra time with the Equipment Manager and it will instead be released some time after patch 3.1. We understand that this feature is a widely anticipated addition and apologize for this minor delay.

This is annoying. With Outfitter out of commission and now no Equipment Manager from Blizzard we have to find another way to manage the many gearsets.

Alternatives to Outfitter from WoW Insider provides some ways to work around these problems.

LilSparky's workshop - Great Addon for Tradeskill moneymaking

Greedy goblin: LilSparky & Batch posting
The LilSparky's workshop is a simple, but very handy addon, its effect can be seen on the picture. It shows my tradeskill window and as you can see, it shows the Auctioneer prices next to each item, so you can find what's profitable and what is a cheap leveling item. This way you can quickly find what to craft.

I have found this addon a great help when trying to find new sources of income. It can sort by the most profit from crafting and reselling an item based on AH scans. Any serious goldmaker should use this addon.
